“With exactly 21 days to go before the 2nd Bicol Youth Congress in Information Technology, I posted the Guidelines on my blog to let others know and Share the upcoming event .”
National Congresses for Information and Communication Technology had been around for years, and the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges as one of the active school participating lots of Congresses in National Area would now be conducting its own Regional Congress through the General Membership of the Junior Philippine Computer Society – CSPC Chapter, a recognized and accredited organization of the school for IT Students. This congress had been patterned in the National Congress but of course changes and twists had been applied for a better and successful congress in the region.
Speakers from Microsoft Philippines through Microsoft Student Partners will be invited to cater the participants with good knowledge and ideas of ICT Trends and Development. We will invite speakers which are outside the region due to the advanced Technology and application to the NCR and other parts of the Luzon were markets for ICT had been constructed and implemented.
This will cover a two day congress for students taking up Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and other related courses (such as CS, IS, ECE, Comp.Eng., and others).
With the Theme:
“Bicolano Youths as pioneers of future: Broadening minds in current IT Trends, Software and Development”
Objectives
1. To promote Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to the Bicolano Youth
2. To equip the youth and College Students of Bicol Region with the latest advancement and development in ICT.
3. To give information about IT careers.
4. To sharpen and demonstrate the program-solving programming skills of ICT students.

There will be a pre-registration for the list of participants from a participating school. Limited slots ONLY.

a. The registration Fee will cover up AM and PM Snacks, Certificate of the participants and Seminar Kits(souvenir programs, id’s, bags, etc.).

a. There shall be a pre-registration on or before October 31, 2011.
